Patricia Fields who’d recently delivered the inexpensive peace offering for us die hard but budgeting shoe addicts is said to be an advocate for the “democratization of fashion”. She’s been known to not only integrate the shoe selection on the set of Sex & the City and The Devil Wears Prada but, to throw on a pair of Payless shoes herself. The Oscar-nominated costume designer turned heads with her personally designed pair of snakeskin and metallic green platform Payless sandals during a red carpet event last year.
