The move on Tuesday came hours after 40 Palestinians were killed at a UN school where civilians had taken shelter amid the offensive.
"The Holocaust, that is what is happening right now in Gaza," Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan president, said in televised comments. Continue reading here

This is genocide. The Jewish people were once being treated the same way by the Nazi's and to turn around and do this smacks of hypocrisy to the highest order.

Watch how the media will spin Chavez's decision to oust the Ambassador. Chavez is not a well liked man among the elites and the corporate American media.

The media paints him as a tyrant but the reality is he's not letting Big oil dictate to him what he should do with his countries vast oil reserves.

They believe instead of him taking those revenues by ensuring every citizen who was formerly at the bottom has a equal chance at inclusion, by receiving higher education or anything that will improve their quality of life should not be on the receiving end. They should be.

Those revenues should be paid to them and not be used by the citizens of Venezuela.

"Chavez says wrong, not aquí!"

That is the quote of the year!!! And I was saying the exact same thing to a friend of mine last night.

This is such a tragic situation. Israel has a massive chip on its shoulder because of the centuries of Jewish persecution, not just the Holocaust. It's made Israel resort to the brutality that was used against them for fear that it will happen to them again if they don't. The Palestinians have suffered for so long under Israel but they refuse to see it. I'm glad that Chavez has sent such a clear message to Israel. He doesn't kowtow to super powers and he's vilified because of it but he's right and I hope Israel and the U.S. realize that.
