3.Tainted love is abuse that comes under the disguise of love.(Whether it be verbal, physical, emotional, or sexual. This pain is not love)

4.Tainted love is love that came from desperation.(You can't find anyone so you settle.)

5.Tainted love is love that came from pain. (You were hurt so much by the ex that this new person who is a complete 180 of the ex has to suffer from the hurt and pain you experienced thus ruining the relationship with this one that could have been the one.)
