Atlanta, GA (emergingminds.org) - In 2007 under the leadership of then Spelman Student Government Association (SSGA) President Ouleye Ndoye, Spelman took twenty-five students from Spelman and Morehouse to Senegal, West Africa to begin a partnership with Women's Health Education and Prevention Strategic Alliance (WHEPSA), the parent organization of 10,000 Girls.
This year, Spelman will continue the partnership by taking students back to rural areas of Senegal to focus of two strategic projects: the building of a library and tutoring.
The 10,000 Girls program is a program under the auspices of the Student Affairs Global Experience (SAGE) and the SSGA. Continue reading
