Deputy police chief rushed to hospital during dinner

Toronto Police Deputy Chief Keith Forde is in serious condition after collapsing from an apparent heart attack at a fundraiser Monday night, reports say.
Forde was eating with a group of police officers at Montana's restaurant in the entertainment district when he slumped over at about 9 p.m.
Police lined the street outside the restaurant to block the public's view of the victim. He was transported to St. Michael's Hospital where his friends, family and colleagues gathered.
Forde, 60, is one of the highest-ranking black police officers in the country. He was the first officer from a visible minority group to be named deputy chief. Source
