Holt Renfrew Welcomes Designer Oscar De La Renta




Oscar De La Renta was at Holt Renfrew on Bloor Street Toronto, Canada today . This evening Oscar will be preseting a fashion at the Carlu, The show will be Mr. de la Renta’s first major Canadian runway show in more than ten years.  Proceeds from the evening will go to benefit ‘HealthyKids International’. HealthyKids International (HKI), an initiative of The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), is an investment in the future health of children around the world.

Beyonce was recently named the Face of "Fashion For Haiti ". Fashion For Haiti was created as a nation wide response to the Earthquake that hit Haiti on Jaunary 12th 2010. T- Shirts will be on sale starting February 16th 2010 for $25 at retailers across the country (USA). Proceeds will be benefitting the Clinton Bush Haiti fund .

The mission of Hearts of Gold is to enhance the lives of New York City's homeless mothers and their children.

The sight of homeless people sleeping in boxes on a cold winter's night with no food, medical attention or companionship became increasingly distressing to Deborah Koenigsberger, so she decided to do something about it. In 1996, she created Hearts of Gold (HoG). She raised substantial funds for New York City's elderly and frail homeless population, and now her focus is on our homeless mothers and their children. read more here
