To honor the resilience of millions of women survivors of war around the world, Women for Women International is hosting a global campaign called Join me on the Bridge on International Women's Day: March 8, 2010.

Alexander McQueen's funeral took place in London today.  His family and closest friends, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Daphne Guiness and Sam Taylor were in attendance for the service.  Another memorial will be taking place at a later date when details are released.  The Alexander Mcqueen Show set for March 9th in Paris will still be taking place.
