Kerry Washington Appointed to Arts & Humanity Committee by Obama


Our committee focuses on arts and humanities education, cultural diplomacy, economic revitalization through the arts and humanities and special events dedicated to recognizing excellence in these areas. Since our members include government agencies and private individuals, we provide a dynamic link between the public and private sectors. All of our efforts are collaborative, and we work primarily with the White House and our cultural partners, the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Appointed by the President, the PCAH Chairman leads the committee, which encompasses twenty-six leading citizens from the private sector who have an interest in and commitment to the humanities and the arts. source

Forest Whitaker, Alfre Woodard, and Anna Wintour have also been appointed to this committee.

I see some FOBs (friends of Barack) are getting a little shine. I'm not mad, because she is very intelligent. Another sister doing her thing. Congrats to Alfre as well.
