Alvin Ailey American Dance® Theater Barbie® Doll Toy


In celebration of the 50th anniversary of one of the world's premier modern dance companies, we present the first ever Barbie® Doll to be inspired by a dance company-Alvin Ailey®&nspb; American Dance Theater Barbie&® Doll. Designed by Artistic Director Judith Jamison, this Barbie® Doll reflects the famed beauty and grace of Alvin Ailey® American Dance Theater and its world-class dancers. Taking the stage in a soaring leap and perfectly applied stage makeup, the doll is dressed in a flowing, white and lace costume worn in wade in the Water from Alvin Ailey's masterpiece Revelations. OMG!!! Between this in the AKA Barbie my little girl will have a nice selection of dolls. I absolutly love AA Amer. Dance Theater and hurt myself trying to get good seat when they come in town. I am so happy to see this post I would have been all kinds of late finding out. Good looking out.

No problem, I'm starting to collect black barbie dolls also. And I had the chance to see AA Amer perform its just amazing.

I agree with marriedtoit! First the AKA barbie and now AA Barbie. I am so glad Barbie has diversity and is now reflecting some of our culture. Now little Black girls everywhere can grow up recognizing Black women do wonderful things at an early age!!
