Rapper 50 Cent has been accused of trying to kill his son and ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins in an arson attack at the home Shaniqua lives in.

Shaniqua Tompkins - mother of the rapper's 10-year-old son Marquise - claims a Molotov cocktail started the fire which destroyed the star's $2.34 million mansion in Dix Hills, New York State while she, the child and four others were inside on Friday (30.05.08). They were all treated in hospital for minor injuries.

She said: "He tried to kill me and his own child. I know this came from 50 Cent. I know he did it."

The blaze comes just days after the 32-year-old rapper - real name Curtis Jackson - tried to get his ex-lover evicted from the house following a heated argument.

The 'In Da Club' star, who was filming "Streets of Blood" in Louisiana when the blaze broke out, denies starting the fire.

His attorney, Brett Kimmel, said: "Any suggestion that Mr. Jackson had anything whatsoever to do with the fire at his home is outrageous and offensive."

Fire officials confirmed the blaze was "definitely suspicious" and have launched an investigation.

Not to mention, Tameka—who's also the mother of 6-month-old Usher Raymond V—was spotted with her hubby of nearly nine months at an MTV taping on Sunday.

Russell Simmons Responds to Kimora's Divorce Filing

Russell Simmons has filed a response to his estranged wife Kimora Lee's divorce petition in a Los Angeles court Tuesday, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE.

The hip-hop mogul, whose legal papers cite irreconcilable differences, is seeking joint physical and legal custody of his and Lee's daughters, Ming, 8, and Aoki, 5. The couple married in 1998. people.com

Keys talks about her conspiracy theories

There's another side to Alicia Keys: conspiracy theorist.

The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter tells Blender magazine: "`Gangsta rap' was a ploy to convince black people to kill each other. `Gangsta rap' didn't exist."

Keys, 27, said she's read several Black Panther autobiographies and wears a gold AK-47 pendant around her neck "to symbolize strength, power and killing 'em dead," according to an interview in the magazine's May issue, on newsstands Tuesday.

Another of her theories: That the bicoastal feud between slain rappers Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. was fueled "by the government and the media, to stop another great black leader from existing."

Beyonce and Jay Z Get Marriage License??

People magazine reports that Beyoncé and Jay-Z could be getting hitched any day now.

From People: According to a source, the pair took out a license on Tuesday morning in Scarsdale Village, N.Y. The document is valid for 60 days. A rep for Beyoncé told PEOPLE, “No comment.” Jay-Z’s spokesperson could not be reached for comment. Beyoncé, 26, and Jay-Z, 38, have been dating since 2002.

These two are expert at keeping their relationship under wraps. If this is true, someone in their camp slipped up majorly. But we hope they got it right!
