THE CECIL BEATON HAITI COLLECTION FOR VOGUE, 1935



 Cecil Beaton travelled to Haiti on assignment for Vogue Magazine in 1935 to write about the "extraordinary isle" and kept a photographic journal of Haiti.  These images are now available for sale and 50% of the proceeds from each image will go to the Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development fund.  Click here to purchase and view images.

    That's an ingenoius way for Vogue to raise awareness. I always liked Cecil Beaton's elegant pix.
